Election: Jalandhar Lok Sabha By-Election, 2023
Background: The Jalandhar Lok Sabha seat had been a Congress stronghold for 24 years.[1] Following the unfortunate demise of the sitting MP, a highly contentious by-election was announced. Our client, a former MLA, joined AAP just days before the election, facing the challenge of quickly establishing his new political identity and overcoming a long-standing political legacy.[2][3][4]
Our Strategy & Execution:
PoliticalInteligenceQ was tasked with crafting and executing a high-impact, short-timeline campaign.
Targeted Digital Outreach: We launched a rapid digital campaign to communicate the client’s switch to AAP and align his personal brand with the party’s development agenda. This was crucial for mitigating voter confusion and building new momentum.
Narrative Control: We established a proactive communication cell to highlight the Bhagwant Mann government’s work in Punjab, framing the by-election as a vote for continued progress.[1]
Ground Game Coordination: Our team worked to seamlessly integrate the candidate’s existing network with AAP’s grassroots volunteer base, ensuring a unified and energetic on-ground presence.
Result:
Sushil Kumar Rinku achieved a historic landslide victory, winning the Jalandhar seat for AAP by a massive margin of 58,691 votes.[3][5] This landmark win not only breached a decades-long Congress bastion but also marked AAP’s re-entry into the Lok Sabha, demonstrating our ability to deliver exceptional results under immense pressure.[1]
Client: Hemant Khava, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP)
Election: Jamjodhpur Assembly Constituency, Gujarat Elections 2022
Background: The Jamjodhpur constituency in Gujarat was a challenging seat with a history of alternating between major parties. To win, our client needed to overcome established political structures and present a compelling case for a new party in the state.
Our Strategy & Execution:
Our primary goal was to establish AAP as a viable and winning alternative.
Hyperlocal Issue Identification: Through detailed ground surveys and data analysis, we identified key local issues that were being overlooked by the incumbent. Our campaign was built around providing concrete solutions to these specific problems.
Booth-Level Management: We implemented a rigorous booth-level management strategy, appointing and training local volunteers to ensure maximum voter turnout on election day.
Voter Segmentation: We segmented the voter base and developed tailored messaging for different demographic groups, ensuring our client’s vision resonated across the community.
Result:
Hemant Khava of AAP won the Jamjodhpur seat, defeating the BJP candidate by a margin of 10,403 votes.[6] This victory was a significant achievement for AAP in the Gujarat Assembly elections and a testament to our ability to craft winning strategies in new and challenging political territories.[7]
